How to style a checkered blazer with an alternative look

Hello! Today I bring you a look I wore a few weeks ago. I'm completely in love with it to be honest. I've seen so many looks with these checkered blazers, I guess it's a trend now and I wanted to get one, but I wasn't sure how to style it.  I found this one on sale, only 9,99€, what a bargain!

The looks I've seen lately with checkered blazers are mostly classy or casual and I wanted to try something different, so I combined the blazer with a more goth / edgy (whatever you like to call it) outfit. The look still gives you a classy vibe and it's very alternative at the same time.

Olá! Hoje trago-vos um look que usei a umas semanas atrás. Sinceramente estou completamente apaixonada por ele. Tenho visto muitos looks com estes blazers com padrão xadrez, penso que seja tendência agora. Queria comprar um, mas não sabia bem como usar. Encontrei este nos saldos, apenas 9,99€, um achado!

Os  looks que tenho visto ultimamente, com estes blazers com padrão xadrez, normalmente são clássicos ou casuais e quis tentar algo diferente. Juntei o blazer a um estilo mais gótico / "edgy". O look continua a dar uma vibe clássica, mas ao mesmo tempo é bastante alternativo.

It's quite easy to style a checkered blazer when you're wearing black clothes. What spiced the outfit were the details. The top and the skorts aren't completly basic. The top has a criss cross v-neck and the skorts have a lace-up detail on the side. To be bolder, I added some cool, kinda sexy stockings and a mustard yellow beret that matches some of the blazer's stripes.

É muito fácil conjugar um blazer com padrão xadrez quando estás a usar roupa preta. O que deu vida ao look foram os detalhes. O top e a saia-calção não são completamente básicos. O top tem um decote em V com tiras entrelaçadas e a saia-calção tem uma espécie de trança no lado. Para ser mais ousada, adicionei ao look umas meias muito fixes e até um pouco sexys e também adicionei uma boina amarelo mostarda que combina com algumas riscas do blazer.

Even though this wasn't the warmest look for winter, I didn't feel cold because I walked all day. This was one of my favorite outfits I've worn lately. Maybe I'll try to create other looks with this blazer to show you. What do you think?
